Balaklava High School

We delivered a brand new state-of-the-art modular upgrade at Balaklava High School! This is also our first project completion in South Australia – officially opened by John Gardner, Minister for Education.

The project saw the demolition of ageing infrastructure, replaced with a new modular building, featuring:

  • General learning areas
  • Breakout spaces
  • Art rooms
  • Storage,
  • Teacher preparation areas
  • Access toilet
  • Large covered verandah

The new upgrade provides students with world-class facilities and will help ensure a smooth transition for year 7 students moving into high school in 2022.

Balaklava High School’s new upgrades are the first delivered as part of the South Australian Government’s $1.3 billion investment in education infrastructure.

Modular Facilities

Our modular facilities are constructed by highly skilled builders in a controlled factory environment off site. Once complete, they are delivered to schools on the back of a truck and assembled onsite. This process can cut out up to half the time required for a traditional build, giving our clients the ability to deliver an exceptional quality architectural build in record timing.

The buildings are sustainable and innovatively designed, with a comparable lifespan to bricks and mortar structures. When working in a school environment, we are sensitive to the needs of that community. We are adept at managing projects to reduce disruption to students, staff, and teaching programs.
